Benefits of Baby Massage

Touch is one of the most significant and nurturing early experiences your baby will have. Nurturing touch has long-term benefits and can impact how we think, feel, and relate to others, and most importantly, how we value and care for ourselves. By using gentle, tactile stimulation along with loving verbal communication, a wonderful bonding experience is shared. Strokes can be either stimulating or relaxing, depending on your baby’s needs and developmental level. Infant Massage benefits your baby in the following specific ways:

  1. Relief
    • Colic & Wind
    • Emotional Stress
  2. Relaxation
    • Aid Sleep Patterns
    • Soothes Baby
  3. Stimulation
    • Build Immunity
    • Help Gain Weight
  4. Interaction
    • Aids The Bonding Process
    • Assists recovery from Post-Natal Depression

What our parents have said…

“Instructor very child focused. Most Enjoyable thing I’ve done this maternity leave”

“Really lovely environment, great instruction. Sean was really helpful and knowledgeable. Myself and my baby loved it”

“Always greeted baby and made her feel welcome… Baby LOVED Sean! Really enjoyed class. Great advise e.g. not massage if baby doesn’t want it”.

“Bonding time with the baby and chats with other moms about how they’re finding things”

“I really enjoyed the baby massage course with Sean. He was so friendly and welcoming, really put everyone at ease including and especially the babies! It was great how he emphasised that it was a baby led class and I felt really comfortable to feed and change her and then join in with the massage when she was ready. I learned a lot and now incorporate the leg massage into our nightly routine and (my baby) loves it, she starts smiling as soon as she sees the oil and it is such a lovely way to end the day together. Would highly recommend Sean’s class to any moms or dads interested in baby massage. Thanks!”
